History
It all began with a dream and a lawnmower.
Zachary Sweet is an avid outdoor lover who began mowing lawns as a summer job before starting university. He enjoyed it so much, he changed the focus of his education and enrolled in the Horticulture and Design Program at Guelph University. In 2013, he founded Sweet Landscaping Ltd. and hired his sister, Amy, as his first employee.
Since then, Zachary’s passion has grown as steadily as his business. He now has a professional crew in his employ and continues his education at every opportunity; having received the Permaculture Design Certificate from Ben Falk – Whole System Designs in Vermont and as an active member of Landscape New Brunswick.
Sweet Landscaping Ltd. has built its reputation through a dedication to quality customer service and deliverable results. As a horticulture enthusiast, Zachary loves choosing just the right plants or trees to create a unique space, knowing the importance of placement for optimal growth, and understanding the value they add to the environment. Taking a barren or basic landscape and turning it into a lush retreat feeds his passion and drives him to be the best in his field.
